Parades and Public Events

In Long Island City, and NYC in general, there was always something going on. Parades, protests, gatherings of all types. I always made it a point of showing up and documenting these moments with my camera. Sometimes, I’d sell these shots to local news sites. Other times, I’d pass them on to the event’s organizers for the group or individual's usage. I'd also write about what I was seeing, and why it might be happening, at Newtown Pentacle. 

Other times, I'd just get lucky and stumble across one event or another during my daily round. I've always got a camera ready to go.
